Sir Thomas Sean Connery was born on August 25, 1930 in Scotland.
He is an award-winning actor and film producer. He is widely known as the first official actor to play James Bond.

Connery was born in Foundenbridge, Edinburgh. He is the son of Euphemia “Effie” McBain (patr. McLean), a cleaner, and Joseph Connery, a factory worker and truck driver.
His father was a Catholic of Irish-Scottish descent, while his mother was a Scottish Protestant. He claims his middle name was Sean, long before he became an actor.
His first occupation was that of milkman in Edinburgh. He then enlisted in the Royal Navy, but was fired due to health problems and returned to his old job doing various jobs as a bus driver, laborer, model for the Edinburgh College of Fine Arts, coffin polisher and bodybuilder.
