There may be some restrictions in congested prefectures and there may be movements only under special conditions, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Costas Karamanlis said on Friday.
“Let’s not go ahead, let’s wait for the specific measures that will be announced by the prime minister and the government,” Karamanlis added.
The itineraries in MMM are thickening
“We are slowly increasing the routes,” he said, noting that by the end of the year, early next, 655 employees will have been hired at STASY and OSY and another 550 at KTEL.
He also highlighted that at the beginning of the year there will be 1,300 to 1,400 buses in circulation.
Asked about the crowded images on the buses, the Transport Minister told SKAI that according to the OASA telematics system, only 5% have a fullness greater than 65%.
“There are no more drivers seconded to the right and left,” said the minister, responding to criticism from SYRIZA deputy Nikos Pappas, while calling the attack by the official opposition on Sotiris Tsiodras unacceptable.
