Stores can optionally operate on the first Sunday of the discount period, that is, November 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
On the first Sunday of the intermediate discounts, November 4, the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce announced that the operation of commercial stores in the prefecture is optional and not mandatory.
The proposed opening hours, for those who choose to operate their stores on (11/4), are from 11:00 in the morning until 18:00 in the afternoon.
During discounts, in addition to the indication of the old and new price of the products and services that are sold at a discount, the indication and commercial communication of a discount percentage is allowed.
It is observed that the data of the companies during the summer discounts was disappointing, while according to an ESEE survey, eight out of ten commercial companies (81%) made lower sales during the summer discount period compared to the corresponding period last year.
