Although the results in the friendlies during the preparation stage are very small, because exactly the team is in preparation, however we point out that we take these friendlies very seriously and the results in the 2nd preparation stage were: 4 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats with 1 goal difference and a missed penalty in both. It is quite inconvenient for us to refer to the results of the friendlies, but we are obliged to document that even in this area, which was an end in itself for him, there was a relatively satisfactory report, given that it was a fresh team. formed.
However, in every friendly match that we did not win, there was an outburst by the team president, with the demand for the dismissal of a player who, according to his own judgment, did not perform well. We witnessed many insults towards native soccer players and extreme characterizations towards our foreign athletes. It was a very difficult time for us, and for what we stand for, to endure and manage them, to calm him down and, on the other hand, to keep our athlete, but also the team focused and focused on their goal. .
Of course, our constant surveillance by the cameras connected in the training office, the athletes’ changing rooms, the gym, the physiotherapy and conference room and the daily sending of photos to the mobile phone by these cameras was of similar difficulty. His recent report on the separation of soccer players from our side, has to do mainly with the discontinuous use in the games of his soccer player / brother-in-law, in the team.
This was the reason for the insufficient number of athletes in the rear positions until the last days of the transfers. Finally, let us dwell on his account of the incident at the sanctification of the team. In our judgment, he showed very bad behavior, because we did not shake the hand of the priest who performed the sanctification. We believe that true faith is a deeply internal and personal matter. How he expresses himself is proven by his daily attitude to life and respect for man. It goes without saying that when there are relatives in our immediate family who belong to vulnerable groups, we have an obligation to protect them in the midst of a pandemic.
Obviously, this is our “difference in philosophy” to which he referred, as the supposed reason for the termination of our contract, even announcing the hiring of a new technician in the team, without having complied with the termination law of our contract . Unfortunately, it turns out that our decision to work with this person was not the most prudent and they will professionally charge us quite dearly. However, it is the size of Panachaiki that made us accept the proposal, and we do not regret our choice.
It is a fact that we feel fortunate to have served a team, with so many devoted fans with selfless motivation, an excellent team of hardworking players and a gem of a Greek football manager with whom the cooperation has been exemplary. The team was and is the big favorite for promotion. We believed it from the beginning, we worked hard for it, and we weren’t afraid to say it publicly when asked. We have been on the pitch all our lives and we know that the only thing that can hinder the return of the team to Primera is the inexperience, instability and dissolution tendencies of its president. We wholeheartedly hope that they overcome and that the team conquer the top.
