The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) informs the passenger public about the airline’s instructions that extend until Friday, November 6 and Sunday, November 8, 2020 and are aimed at protecting passengers and citizens from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Particularly:

• An extension of the air instructions regarding restrictions on passenger flights to and from Kozani “Filippos” and Kastoria “Aristotelis” airports is announced until midnight on Friday, November 6, 2020.
• The air instructions regarding the suspension of flights between Greece and Turkey and between Greece and the region of Catalonia in Spain are extended until 8/11/2020 at midnight.
• The air directive is extended until 11/8/20, which states that all flights to and from Greece from Albania and North Macedonia will be operated only on the AIA “Eleftherios Venizelos”.
• The notam that establishes that those who travel to Greece by air connection from Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, United Arab Emirates, Malta, Belgium, Spain, Albania and Macedonia of the North, (total 11), will enter our country only with a negative Covid-19 test which will have been carried out up to 72 hours before their arrival, while they will also be subjected to sampling tests, according to the Protection instructions Civil and EODY.

Citizens and permanent residents of the following 9 countries are excluded from this note: Singapore, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Uruguay and the United Arab Emirates, who will be subject to a sample. In addition, permanent residents of Israel coming to Greece will be re-tested for COVID-19 while maintaining the maximum entry limit of 10,000 travelers per week from Israel to all airports in Greece.
• An extension is also announced until November 8, 2020 for the air directive for Russia (permanent residents), which provides for entry only with a negative covid-19 test that will have been carried out by the PCR method up to 72 hours before arrival. to Athens airports. Thessaloniki and Heraklion, as well as a maximum of 500 passengers per week. In any case, permanent residents of Russia coming to Greece will be re-tested for covid-19.
• Finally, the Civil Aviation Service (CAA) informs about the extension until 11/8/2020 of the mandatory completion of the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at the electronic address https://travel.gov.gr/ by part of all passengers on international flights to Greece Exceptions to the existing instructions of the pre-existing notam apply to air instructions.
