Today begins the implementation of the new measures announced a few days ago by the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Specifically, as of today, traffic is prohibited from 12:30 after midnight until 5 in the morning, while the use of a mask (mask everywhere) is mandatory in all indoor and outdoor areas. The new measures apply to regional units included in the Health and Safety Charter for Covid-19 infection, at level 3 (Greater surveillance) and level 4 (Greater risk).
Level 4 (highest risk) includes the regional units of Kastoria, Kozani, while among the regional units located at level 3 (highest vigilance) is the Attica and Thessaloniki region.
At the same time, according to clarifications given yesterday by the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, those who participate in group or individual exercise indoors and outdoors as well as car drivers either alone or with family members are exempt from mandatory use mask. grade passengers. Also, it is not mandatory for students to wear a mask during physical education class (gymnastics) in schools. Likewise, when it comes to restaurants and health stores, citizens will be able to remove their masks when they visit them only when they sit at the table.
As for the traffic ban from 12:30 to midnight to 5 a.m., only those citizens who meet the following conditions will be able to travel without restrictions:
– Journalists and the media move in the same way as they did during the pandemic lockdown phase of the first phase of the pandemic, that is, showing their journalistic identity and the certificate of their employer, which must be updated every 14 . days.
– Private sector employees must have a marketing authorization certificate from the employer. To obtain the certificate of registration of the employees, who must go or leave their job, the employer must enter the ERGANI information system, complete the corresponding form and send it to the employee who can show it to the auditors. instruments in printed or electronic form. The authenticity of the document is certified by the protocol number it contains. The form is completed before the move and the employer must provide it and the employee must show it to the control bodies.
– In the case of other wage earners, natural persons, who have to travel during closed hours, such as self-employed, merchants, self-employed, they must fill in the corresponding form that will be in the “ERGANI” information system and that they must complete before your movement, entering with your taxisnet codes.
– Officials for exceptional trips must bring their identity card or police passport as well as a circulation certificate, printed or electronic. The circulation certificate is issued by applying the Greek state human resources register on the website apografi.gov.gr and exceptionally with a certificate drawn up under the responsibility of the competent chief of staff.
In addition, from today, the retail and service companies of the regional units belonging to level 4, that is, in Kastoria and Kozani, will operate under the strict conditions of level 3.
The same will apply to hairdressing, manicure – pedicure and beauty salons services in the areas of level 4, which will function as in level 3.
OPAP agencies in the “red” areas will remain closed.
