Gikas Majorkinis reiterated that the age of 19 to 40 years shows an increasing dynamics compared to the experts’ scenario for the evolution of the pandemic. In other words, they become infected, as the professor pointed out, up to 2 times more easily than the other age groups.
“Their participation in diagnoses is greater than that of other age groups,” he said, urging young people up to 40 years of age to be very careful. As he said, this group must “be very careful, not consider themselves invulnerable, wear a mask, avoid overcrowding and protect vulnerable populations.”
