The Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, provided emergency information on the course of the coronavirus in our country on Wednesday afternoon (10/22).
As Mr. Hardalias highlighted, the situation is extremely critical, therefore the following will apply as of Friday, October 24:
- At level 4 (Increased Risk) Kastoria is upgraded
- At level 3 (Greater surveillance) it is still Ioannina, where the situation will be reassessed on Saturday.
- Thessaloniki, Larissa, Serres and Viotia regions are increased to level 3
For areas located in alarm level 4 (Kastoria) the following applies:
- The mask is mandatory in all indoor workplaces and in all outdoor areas
- In schools there is a possible rotation function, in combination with distance education or only distance education
- Suspension of operation in archaeological sites

- In the field of catering, the use of a mask is mandatory for staff, up to 4 people are allowed per table, Integrity 50% of the useful area, Distances from table seats (relevant JMC), while they will be closed 00.00-05: 00 (excluding Take away – delivery with prohibition of sale of alcohol).
