There are 667 new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease, of which 88 are associated with known outbreaks and 45 were identified after controls at the gates of the country. The total number of cases amounts to 26,469 (daily variation + 2.6%), of which 55.6% are men. The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 8, while since its inception
epidemic has been recorded a total of 528 deaths.

The median age of the patients who died was 79 years. The number of patients treated by intubation is 87 (69.0% men).

The daily distribution of confirmed cases is as follows (the line represents the total accumulated distribution of cases).

Of the total of 26,469 cases, 3,613 (13.6%) are considered related to travel from abroad, 10,539 (39.8%) are related to a known case and the rest are not related to travel or any other known case or they are still under investigation.

The average age of the cases is 39 years (range 0 to 102 years), while the average age of death is 79 years (range 25 to 102 years). The age distribution of (a) total cases, (b) cases that resulted in death, and (c) patients treated by intubation, is as follows:
