After many months with empty stands, now there will also be games with people in Greece.
According to information from the SDNA, the health committee gave the final “ok” and decisions are expected to be formalized within the day.
What do they say? That from the European games of Olympiacos and PAOK this week the fans will return to the stadiums, at a rate of 10%.
Specifically, the Olympiacos-Marseille match on Wednesday (10/21) in Faliro will have 3,200 people and PAOK-Omonia in Toumba on Thursday (10/22) will have 2,900 fans.
In regards to Super League 1, the return of the world will take place on a pilot basis, initially with two matches in the next match. Specifically, it will affect the Asteras Tripolis-OFI (10/25) and Atromitos-Panaitolikos (10/26) matches, also of course 10% of the stadium capacity, while from the 7th match the presence will be allowed of fans in all the games.
The maximum attendance, however, will reach 3,500 and refers to OAKA, which has a capacity of approximately 67,000 seats.
It must be emphasized once again that the measure works on a pilot basis and in a first phase refers strictly to the Superleaue 1 football matches, as of course to the European matches of the teams and in no case to the closed stadiums of the country .
The health authorities want to see how this plan will work, to see in practice if an opportunity can be given for the measure to work positively and solve more problems than are created.
Please note that all tickets will be available electronically with identification, while of course the necessary distances will be maintained at the stadiums.
