France is preparing to deport 231 foreigners who are on the government’s watch list for suspicious extremist religious beliefs, Europe 1 radio station reported.

The decision is made two days after an 18-year-old Chechen, born in Chechnya, beheaded French history professor Samuel Patti in the Yvelines district, north of Paris.

However, the French Interior Ministry, responsible for the deportations, was not available for comment. Today, thousands of citizens took to the streets of Paris and other major cities to pay tribute to the 47-year-old teacher who was so heinously murdered.
