Candidates will be asked to answer general knowledge questions, which will become more specialized depending on the specialty. In fact, this process will not be without tests of skills and personality. All this is foreseen in the new draft law of the Ministry of the Interior, about which Minister Takis Theodorikakos speaks exclusively with SKAI.

“The result of the prestigious Panhellenic examinations, which will be given each year by the interested parties, will have great weight. “Thus, the right person in the right position among the Greek public will become a reality,” the interior minister said.

At a time when the unemployed in our country exceed one million, the majority of young people who want to speed up the procedures for their immediate hiring in the public sector.

The results of the written exams will be the main criteria for filling the vacancies. The next step is the creation of a reservoir, from which the independent authority will extract those designated according to the needs of each agency.

Candidates will not need to present diplomas and certificates, as ASEP will be able to obtain supporting documents from public services.

The role of ASEP, according to the Interior Ministry, is being strengthened, with the aim of ending delays that can exceed even two years from the announcement to the tender.
