Coronavirus – All news: According to the data of the actions for the sample inspections carried out by the Mobile Health Units (KOMY) of the National Public Health Organization (EODY) in the Kozani Regional Unit, yesterday Friday more than 400 inspections were carried out in structures and points headquarters of the prefecture.
Specifically, in the missions that were organized, a total of 482 tests were carried out (402 rapid antigen tests-rapid test- and 80 molecular -pcr).
The inspections concerned traces of close contacts of confirmed cases in the Kozani Health Center (47 samples) and mass inspections in the central squares of Ptolemaida (100 tests) and the squares of Niki and Lassani in Kozani (335 tests).
Of the results of 402 rapid tests, 27 cases were found (1 in the Ptolemaida square and 26 in the Kozani square), a percentage of 6.7%.

The Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalias, is in Kozani today, since the entire Regional Unit has gone from yesterday to level 4 Increased Risk in the Health Security and Protection Charter of the Greek Government.

Nikos Hardalias is accompanied by the Secretary General for Public Health Panagiotis Prezerakos, the Secretary General for Civil Protection, Vassilis Papageorgiou, the Secretary General for Economic Policy, Christos Triantopoulos and the Director of Preparedness and Response of EODYPoun.
Subsequently, the Vice Minister of Civil Protection went to Ioannina, he has a meeting with the Governor of Epirus, Alexandros Kachrimanis and his associates, since the Regional Unit of Ioannina also shows a high epidemiological burden (level 3 of Higher Vigilance).

The category of alarm level 4 – Increased risk provides for the mandatory use of a mask in all indoor and outdoor workplaces, the suspension of all meetings in public and private spaces, as well as the prohibition of movement outside the Regional Unit by Kozani.
