“Our Armed Forces are always ready to provide security to the Greek people”, underlined by Larissa or Konstantinos Floros, at a time when tensions are rising because of Turkey on the Greek continental shelf.
THE Head of GEETHA he visited Larissa, where he was in the 1st Army, the Tactical Aviation Headquarters and the National Aviation Operations Center.
In a statement he referred to the role of the Armed Forces, highlighting that “The Armed Forces are doing what they exist for, that is, they are producing security for the Greek state.”
At the same time he said that “There is determination, composure and diplomacy, to everything that the government and the Minister of National Defense have referred to”, sending the message that “All Greeks must be calm and everything will work out.”

The Armed Forces are on standby
It is observed that the officials of the Ministry of National Defense watch every move of Oruc Reis, but also of the Turkish fleet.
They knew and know, at all times, where the Turkish ships and Turkish submarines are.
They knew for example on Wednesday noon that the Oruc Reis it had reached 20 nm from Kastelorizo, even though its tracking system was closed.
Eventually, they were aware of the constant efforts of the Turks to locate Greek submarines, but to no avail.
