According to EMY’s worsening weather emergency bulletin, a new disturbance in the upper atmosphere of the central Mediterranean will move further east and affect northwest Greece.

The intense phenomena of the afternoon hours will also affect the northeast of the country.

In the rest of the regions, scattered clouds that will gradually thicken, with local rains since the afternoon on the mainland. The winds will blow from directions 4 to 6 south and into the Aegean locally 7 beauforts. Little by little, in the west they will turn to the northwest and weaken.

From Thursday night (10-15-2020) the Ionian Islands will be affected, the
Epirus and gradually the western continent.

A weakening of the phenomena is expected gradually from 12 noon on Friday (10-16-2020) from the north.
