The General Secretariat of Civil Protection issued a message regarding dangerous meteorological phenomena, previously announced by EMY.

Recommendations and instructions to citizens were issued by General Secretariat of Civil Protection in view of the worsening weather. According to an Extraordinary Meteorological Deterioration Bulletin issued today by EMY, a temporary worsening of the weather is forecast from today (10-15-2020) in the northwest and tomorrow night in the northeast of the country, with heavy rains and thunderstorms in places that can be accompanied by hail. .

From Thursday night (10-15-2020), the Ionian Islands, Epirus and gradually the Western Continent. A weakening of the phenomena is expected gradually from noon on Friday (10-16-2020) from the north.

From the afternoon hours of Friday, East Macedonia, Thrace and the islands of the northeast Aegean. A weakening of the phenomena is expected in the early hours of Saturday morning (17-10-2020) in East Macedonia and Thrace and from noon on the islands of the northeast Aegean.
