In the Agia Sofia Children’s Hospital in Athens, with a team from EKAB Patras, a 4-year-old boy was transported on Tuesday after it was established that he was positive for coronavirus.
According to the first information from ERT, the child who allegedly had initial symptoms of laryngitis, the parents took him to TO.MY South Sector of Patras. There he underwent a coronavirus test that came back positive.
The doctors contacted the Rio Hospital where a Covid Unit for children has been created, but also with the parents with EODY. Finally, it was considered appropriate to transfer the child with EKAB to Athens because yesterday the Hospital of Rio did not cover all the time on duty.
