There are 295 new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease, of which 48 are associated with known outbreaks and 40 were identified after controls at the gates of the country. The total number of cases amounts to 22,652 (daily variation + 1.3%), of which 55.7% are men.
The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 7, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 456 deaths have been registered. The average age of the patients who died is 79 years. The number of patients treated by intubation is 91 (72.5% men).
Of the total of 22,652 cases, 3,315 (14.6%) are considered related to travel from abroad, 9,218 (40.7%) are related to a known case and the rest are not related to travel or any other known case or they are still under investigation.
The average age of the cases is 40 years (range 0 to 102 years), while the average age of death is 79 years (range 25 to 102 years).
