About 200 people, dressed in black and with hoods, went tonight to the Deryneia checkpoint, carrying sticks and shouting slogans.
After they managed to break the bar that prevents access to Famagusta, they lit torches and fired flares.
They held a Greek flag and shouted slogans like “Cyprus is Greek.”
Following the intervention of the Cypriot police, the demonstration broke up.
