Stampoulidis in SKAI 100.3: Mandatory mask while waiting in restaurants

The new measures that will come into effect from tomorrow, Monday in Attica and the rest of the “orange” areas characterized by a high risk of coronavirus, explained the Secretary General of Commerce and Consumer Protection Panagiotis Stampoulidis on SKAI 100.3 radio. These measures will be valid for 12 days and decisions will be made again depending on the course of the pandemic.

In particular, the measures are as follows:

  • Mandatory use of mask on staff
  • 4 people per table
  • At 50% of the integrity of what is indicated in the license
  • Table-seat distances
  • Closed from 00.00 to 05: 00 (except for take away – delivery with prohibition of alcohol sale)

Mr. Stampoulidis emphasized that restaurants in Attica and other areas with a serious epidemiological burden must adapt to these new measures starting tomorrow.

He explained that the restriction for four people per table is horizontal and does not exclude members of the same family.

He also stressed that wearing a mask is mandatory while waiting in restaurants and restaurants.
