A new negative record has been recorded in Greece since the day the coronavirus pandemic broke out when the largest number of intubated patients was announced.
According to information from EODY, the number of patients treated by intubation in the country now rises to 100. It is recalled that yesterday the number of patients intubated in the country was 98.
Scientists are particularly concerned about the increase in the number of intubated patients. This was mentioned during the briefing yesterday of the Ministry of Health on the course of the pandemic in the country and the assistant professor of the EKPA medical school and member of the expert committee of the Ministry of Health Gikas Majorkinis, noting that the pressure on the health system is increasing.

Along with the number of intubations following an upward trend, cases in the country are steadily increasing with EODY announcing today 306 new infection cases of which the majority, 165, are in Attica, 27 in Ioannina and 11 in Thessaloniki and Kozani. It is observed that the total number of cases in the country is 22,078.
The concern is intense for Attica at a time when the healthcare system is under pressure and the new negative history of intubated patients. However, as Nikos Hardalias affirmed yesterday, after presenting the Charter for Health Security and Protection against Covid-19 infection, which divides Greece into 4 levels of danger with Attica being the third (orange), the basin is quite far from level 4 (no region of the country is at this level). “If we go to level 4 then it will be mandatory to use them outdoors”, answered the Undersecretary of Civil Protection to a relevant question.
