A fire broke out at noon in a floating tank at Perama It was loaded with concrete structures, empty inside and large.
Officials of the corresponding Port Authority went immediately to Perama where they found the existence of the fire in the emergency generator, on the outer deck.
One ran to the area fire ship, four private tugboats, four fire trucks, four water tankers, while two Greek Navy patrol boats and a deep-sea ship sailed for assistance.
