The man from Kounoupidiana, Chania, appeared this Thursday before the police authorities, who brutally abused his dog, hanging him and cutting off his genitals, in a case that caused a stir throughout the country.
The perpetrator, according to ekriti.gr, during his testimony stated that he proceeded with this act in order to “calm the dog”, as he characteristically stated,
The perpetrator has already been fined 30,000 euros, while his testimony was included in the case file that has already been sent to the Chania Prosecutor’s Office.
The man, due to the passage of the road, was released.

The dog was operated on and immediately received the necessary care, with the result that the serious injuries that had been caused to his genitals healed to some extent.
The unfortunate animal that is now in a safe environment, recovers and looks for people who love and adopt him.
Equally shocking, however, is the fact that he had marks on his head, most likely from cigarettes put out by the man who committed this heinous act.
