Today goes down in the history of the country as a day of victory for the Rule of Law, as a day of victory for Justice and, finally, as a day of victory for the Republic itself.
We celebrate the historic conviction of the Court for members of the Nazi criminal organization Golden Dawn.
We also welcome the thousands of citizens who gathered in front of the Court of Appeals to shout in favor of the victory of the Republic. The broad democratic current that was formed today on Alexandras Avenue, together with the thousands of citizens who could not come, is the true protective barrier of the Republic against fascism.
Now it is everyone’s responsibility not to allow the serpent of Nazism to re-infect society and the political system.
