Attica maintains one more day the first in the distribution of coronavirus cases in the country.
Earlier, EODY announced 399 new infections in the country and the plethora of them is for another day in the Attica region. It is worth noting that of the total of new cases, 55 are associated with known outbreaks and 33 were identified after controls at the country’s entry gates.

The EODY announcement
Today we announce 399 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 55 are associated with known outbreaks and 33 were detected after controls at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 20,541, of which 55.9% are men.
3,122 (15.2%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 8385 (40.8%) are related to an already known case.
87 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their average age is 67 years. 24 (27.6%) are women and the rest are men. 89.7% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 229 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 3 more deaths registered and 420 deaths in total in the country. 158 (37.6%) women and the rest men. The average age of our dying fellow citizens was 78 years old and 96.4% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
