The assistant professor of the EKPA Faculty of Medicine and member of the Expert Committee of the Ministry of Health Gikas Majorkinis announced that the new cases are 399 while emphasizing that Greece entered the second wave of coronavirus in the first 10 days of August with Attica showing daily some weeks over noon.

Subsequently, the Vice Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management intervened Nikos Hardals, who repeated the need for faithful observance of the measures to overcome the danger and account for the situation in our country regarding the pandemic.
Then he referred to the controls that are carried out and the fines that are imposed, while he also referred to the cases of coronavirus in schools.
