Earlier, wanting to anticipate even informing his personal physician, the president of the United States rushed to announce via Twitter that he would be discharged from the hospital.
He said he was feeling better and would be leaving Walter Reed Medical Center in the early hours of Tuesday (1:30 Greek time) after spending the weekend there for coronavirus treatment.

Trump aides insist he remains in hospital
At the same time, according to CNN, Trump’s advisers urged him Monday morning to stay in the hospital.
Even when Trump said he was feeling better and was struggling to get out of the hospital, advisers tried to persuade him to stay, warning him of his deteriorating health.
“You don’t want to go back” is the message he conveyed to the US president, a source said. If his condition worsens after his return to the White House, the source said: “It would be bad.”
