Police officers from the Heraklion Security Sub-Directorate investigated five cases of burglary and burglary. Four of them were completed and one remained in the attempted stage, while all were interned in houses in the larger area of Heraklion municipality. For these cases, two immigrants were arrested and a case was brought against them for distinguished robbery cases.
According to the police investigation and the preliminary investigation, during the period between 13.09.2020 and 27.09.2020, the two immigrants during their action had taken money and jewelery, the total monetary value of which amounts to 8,765 euros.
The detainees were located by police from the DIAS group and it was found that they lacked legal documents of residence in the country. A search of their home followed, where some of the money they had taken during their robberies was found.
The preliminary investigation continues by the Heraklion Security Sub-Directorate, while those arrested with the case against them will be taken to the Heraklion Prosecutor.
