Mother and daughter murdered in Athens after 13 years – Strangled and dismembered

After 13 years, the Attica Security Department for Crimes against Life and Personal Liberty investigated the long-running case of the heinous murder of a mother and daughter.

The two Georgian women, aged 59 and 21, had disappeared on July 6, 2007 from Athens and had shown no sign of life since.

It is noted that the disappearance of the women had been reported to the Omonia Security Department and the file that was formed was presented to the Athens Prosecutor for Misdemeanors.

ELAS, after cooperating with the Georgian authorities, through Interpol, located in Athens the two alleged perpetrators, aged 54 and 60, whom it brought.

According to the Police, the two perpetrators, originally from Pakistan, had strangled and dismembered the two women, inside the apartment of the 54-year-old in Petralona, ​​while later, with the help of a third person, their bodies had disappeared .

The motive for the crime, according to the 54-year-old man, was personal differences with the victims.

The new information that emerged was sent to the Athens Prosecutor. The case was referred for main investigation and arrest warrants were issued against the perpetrators, with whom they were detained.
