The alleged perpetrator was motivated by personal disputes with the victims – Interpol also cooperated in the investigation
Police investigate murder case of two elderly women -mother and daughter- 59 and 21 years, which had disappeared on 6-7-2007 from the Athens area and since then they had not shown any signs of life. The disappearance of the women mentioned had been reported to TA Omonia.
Following cooperation with the Authorities of the victims’ country of origin, through National Interpol Unit and diligent searches, the two alleged perpetrators were located in Athens and brought to justice. They are two foreigners, 54 and 60 years old.
As it turned out, the victims had been strangled to death, inside the 54 year old apartment in Petralona and beyond the perpetrators, with the help of a third person, disappeared their bodies.
The reason for his actions, according to the 54-year-old man, was personal disputes with victims.
The new information that emerged was presented to the Athens Prosecutor for misdemeanors, the case was referred for main investigation and against the perpetrators. arrest warrants were issued under which they were detained.
