Former couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will once again “fight” in court over their much disputed divorce and child custody. The “Brangelina”, as they were called, have appealed to the court, bringing with them famous witnesses, bodyguards and psychologists to testify.
The two artists announced their separation in September 2016, after two years of marriage and eleven years of relationship.
They are the parents of six children, three of whom are their biological children. According to the foreign press, Angelina Jolie has filed a lawsuit against Pax, Zahara, Silo, Vivienne and Knox, who are now adults and attending a South Korean university, against her father, Brad Pitt.
This assessment is done primarily in cases where there are “concerns about abuse, substance use, or mental health issues.” It is noted that some time ago Brad Pitt confirmed his addiction to alcohol, while in an interview with the “New York Times” he revealed that he has been attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings for a year and a half.
Brad Pitt asked from the first moment to share custody and be able to spend more time with his children, something that Angelina refuses, who intends to move permanently to England to cut all contact with her father.
Witnesses, psychologists and “key” bodyguards
According to a Daily Express article, Pete called on Jolie actress and former collaborator Gillian Armenade to testify on his behalf, while he has called in various psychologists and bodyguards to defend him. Gillian Armenade collaborated with Jolie on the films “Girl”, “Interrupted” and “A Mighty Heart.”
According to foreign media, Jolie keeps her papers “closed”, however, it seems that she will use her addiction to alcohol against her ex-husband, while it is not ruled out that references are made to her relationships with other women.
Brad Pitt recently commented on his appearance with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston in an online reading of “Fast Times At Ridgemont High.” At the same time, a lot of ink is being poured into his relationship with his new partner, Nicole Poturalski.
The trial is scheduled to begin on October 5 and last until October 23, according to Us Weekly.
