Eleni Zaroulia of Chrysi Avgi was appointed as a temporary employee of Parliament, according to a relevant government bulletin published.
The decision was signed by the President of Parliament, Konstantinos Tassoulas, who according to parliamentary sources “could not do anything”, as the appointment was based on provisions of the Parliament’s Rules of Procedure (Articles 35 and 36) that allow former parliamentary speakers to participate to place transferable officials in the Greek Parliament.
In fact, Chrysi Avgi Chairman Nikos Michaloliakos allegedly asked for the appointment of the previous transferee at his disposal to be lifted, so that Eleni Zaroulia could enter.

According to the Parliament’s Rules of Procedure, the former parliamentary parties have the right to request the appointment of a transferable official, according to parliamentary sources in the case of the appointment of Ms. El. Zaroulia, former deputy of Chrysi Avgi and husband of party leader V. Michaloliakos . According to the same sources, the president of ATHEX requested the lifting of the appointment of the previous assignee and requested the appointment of Mrs. Zaroulia. As for the time (appointment), they reported that a few days ago V. Michaloliakos made the corresponding request.
The relevant decision, published today in Sheet 811 (YODD) of the Official Gazette, is the following:
“With Decision No. 10747/7309 / 24-9-2020 of the President of the Hellenic Parliament, he is appointed to the post of transferable employee of the category of human resources, provided for by the provisions of article 35 para., Α ́ 51 / 1997), in force, to the former president of the KO, Eleni Zaroulia de Vassilios (identification number: ΑΜ 225834), with the seventh MK since this applies to employees of Parliament, of the human resources category of law 4354 / 2015 (Α ́ 176), how to apply “.
