The coronavirus protective mask, inside and out, will soon be mandatory, said microbiology professor Alkiviadis Vatopoulos.
“The ‘bell’ has already rung, the units are already starting to fill up, we already have continuous influxes, we have cases in densely populated areas, many asymptomatic people are circulating among us,” Vatopoulos told SKAI.
“The wearing of a mask inside and outside will be mandatory at some point,” he said, adding that the issue has been discussed in the corresponding committee.
The professor stressed that increased intubation indicates the outbreak of the epidemic and called on vulnerable groups to avoid travel.
“The motto should be to protect ourselves and respect the measures. “Greece is not growing exponentially, and I hope we don’t have that, other countries have gotten rid of a lot of deaths,” Vatopoulos said.
