With an extraordinary announcement, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, directs a strict recommendation to the employees of the Local Unit of Loukisia in the Prefecture of Evia and in the Municipality of Thebes in the settlements of Mouriki, Ypato, Loutoufi, Platanaki, to stay home, from today 30-0. 2020 and time 21.00΄ and until tomorrow, October 1, 2020 and time 00.00΄. As reported by GGP: “After an extraordinary meeting at the Civil Protection Operations Center and based on the data obtained from the tracking of a 63-year-old native who tested positive for Covid_19 and is being treated at the NIMTS hospital, by order of the Vice Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalia, for urgent reasons of serious risk to public health and, in particular, to limit the spread of the effects of COVID-19, STRONG RECOMMENDATION to the inhabitants of the following settlements of the municipality of Thebes, Boeotia and the municipality of Chalkida, Evia:
● Mouriki, Platanakia, Ypato and Loutoufi of the Municipality of Tebas of the Regional Unit of Viotia and
● Lucissia of the Chalkida City Council of the Evia Regional Unit,
for faithful observance of the following self-protection measures:
▪ Stay indoors and avoid any unnecessary movement.
Use of a mask in all areas, interior and exterior.
▪ Absence of students in any school unit of all levels and
▪ Failure to relocate workers from the public and private sectors of these settlements to their work, in order to avoid the risk of dispersion and protect other workers.
After consulting with the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, the Strong recommendation to employers, who employ people who live in these areas, to accept the absence of employees, without further consequences..
It is observed that since tomorrow, 01-10-2020 in the morning, four (4) EODY Mobile Health Teams (KOMY) will be located in said settlements, in the local Municipal Warehouses (Mouriki-Platanakia, Ypato, Loutoufi and Loukissia), to carry out sampling controls.
The previous strong recommendation is valid until the end of the control process in the mentioned areas, when a new announcement will be issued ”.
