Weather: Rains and thunderstorms are expected to break out in the next few hours in Greece, according to the Extraordinary Weather Deterioration Bulletin.
Heavy rains and thunderstorms are already manifesting in the early hours of Monday morning in the Ionian Islands, Epirus, western Sterea.
From Tuesday afternoon and morning, the intense phenomena are likely to affect Thrace and the islands of the northeast Aegean.

Messolonghi: city streets turned into lakes
Memories of the 2016 flood phenomenon were awakened on Monday afternoon (09/28) in Messolonghi, as due to heavy rains, many roads in the city have literally turned into lakes.
According to messolonghinews.gr, the problems lie in the Agios Spyridon district, where many roads are inaccessible, as well as in the surroundings of RADIO MEGARO.
In the Tabakaria area, most of the roads were flooded and residents were trying to clean the wells. As they said about three days ago, the wells had been cleaned but the pump station was not working to absorb the water, so this damage was caused, according to aixmi-news.gr.
The Messolonghi Fire Service received dozens of calls to pump water.

In Patras, the storm that hit the city was strong.

Nafpaktos: In the flames of a house that was “struck” by lightning
There was a fire in a house in Nafpaktos Paleopanagia Monday afternoon, after lightning struck the solar water heater on the roof of the building.
The fire in the house spread and firefighters from the Nafpaktos Fire Department rushed to the scene to contain it.
Also, Nafpaktos was in the eye of a heavy rain with a focus on Kalydonos Street. The road was flooded with rainwater and the intervention of the Fire Department was necessary, which rushed to the place with two vehicles to pump the accumulated water.
However, serious problems are observed in the Nafpaktia Mountains with the largest in the Pyllini area in Gavrolimni, but also in the Trikorfo area in Nafpaktia municipality.
