Hardals: Kiosks and wineries in Attica will close at midnight – Extraordinary measures in Trikala – Society

New measures were announced by the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, during the information established on the evolution of the new coronavirus pandemic, on Friday afternoon.

According to Mr. Hardalias’ announcements:

Retail stores close, such as kiosks, convenience stores and warehouses, from midnight to 5 a.m., in the Attica region and in areas that are under special restrictive measures: in Imathia, Kilkis, Pella, Pieria, Halkidiki, Chania, Heraklion, Zakynthos, Lesbos and Mykonos.

Pharmacies and gas stations are excluded from this measure.

In the mentioned areas, but also in those that are under greater epidemiological surveillance (East Macedonia and Thrace Region, PE, Thessaloniki, Karditsa, Larissa, Corfu, and in the municipalities of Volos, Santorini, Rhodes, Kos in Paros and Antiparos) , takeout, drivethrough and delivery allowed, excluding the sale of alcohol.

These measures will enter into force on 5 a.m. on Saturday 9/25 to October 4.

In addition, the opening hours of health warehouses in areas with special restrictive measures or epidemiological surveillance are being adjusted: now they will remain closed from midnight to 5 a.m. and not at 7 a.m.

Extraordinary measures in Trikala

As announced by Mr. Hardalias, PE Trikala is subject to restrictive measures due to the increased epidemiological burden observed in the area.

This means: Suspension of any type of event, prohibition of meetings of more than nine people both in open and closed spaces, mandatory use of the mask both outdoors and indoors. Up to four people per table in restaurants and up to 6 if they are family.

The suspension of leisure and restaurant areas remains in effect from midnight to 5 in the morning.
