A series of precautionary measures in the face of what so far appears to be a “last resort” for the government seem to have already fallen on the table, as announced by Nikos Hardalias.

The Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, ruled out the possibility of imposing a new confinement in Attica for the moment, while pointing out two measures that are already being considered and it is not ruled out that they will be implemented in the near future.

It is about the mandatory use of the mask both indoors and outdoors, but also the imposition of restrictive measures on people over 65, that is, those who are in critical age groups.

Specifically, after a relevant question he received, Nikos Hardalias answered aimed at parliamentary authors: “We are far from a confinement. We have many more steps ahead of such an eventuality. For example, I tell you the use of a mask indoors and outdoors or possible measures for age groups over 65 but we will see it based on the data of the moment

According to what was said by the Deputy Minister of Protection, and based on what Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed in Thursday’s sermon, the government continues to avoid the decision to impose a new blockade, for a variety of reasons, mainly financial, already considering the next steps you will take if the cases continue to have the same growth rate.
