Occupations in many schools in the country continue, while several more, departments or entire complexes, remain closed due to the coronavirus.
Yesterday students marched in the center of Athens with demands that included the formation of departments with a maximum number of 15 students, the hiring of the teaching and cleaning staff necessary to conduct classes properly and safely, as well as repealing the law of Kerameos for thematic bank.
Yesterday, however, the Ministry of Education presented two provisions for the strengthening of schools, with funds that will bring teachers and staff.

At the same time, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis focused on the importance of open schools in his message, saying, among other things, that “schools should be the last to close in a new outbreak of the pandemic and not the first. “emphasizing that” “Closed schools only bring closed minds.”
