The vast majority of respondents are in favor of the mask to limit the spread of the new coronavirus, according to the findings of the PULSE survey on behalf of SKAI presented in the station’s main newsletter with Sia Kosioni.
In Attica, nearly eight out of every ten inhabitants of the region are especially concerned about the spread of the virus, while in the rest of Greece six out of ten inhabitants.
At the same time, the survey shows the difference in mentality among the respondents, since, although high, the percentage of young people aged 17 to 29 who are in favor of the mask is the lowest.
The results of the PULSE survey for SKAI in detail
The percentage of people affected in the country (66%) is the second highest since April (78%).
In particular, 74% of the total respondents say they are convinced of the need for the mask, with 56% answering yes with certainty and 18% probably yes. 19% of the total sample answered that they were not convinced of the mask, with 9% probably saying no and 10% definitely answering no. I don’t know / I don’t answer affirms 7%.
The older the more convinced of the need for a mask
Regarding the need to use a mask, 61% of those surveyed in the 17 to 29 age group are more or less convinced, 22% answered yes or no, while 17% of the sample stated that Do not know not answer. In the age group 30-44 years, 68% of the respondents are more or less convinced, 29% respond more or less definitively, while 3% affirm that they do not know / do not answer. In the age group of 45 to 59 years, they affirm that 75% of the respondents are more or less convinced, 19% answer probably or definitely not, while 6% affirm that they do not know / do not answer. In the age group 60 and over, 85% of the respondents are more or less convinced, 10% answer yes or no, while 5% affirm they do not know / do not answer.
When asked how concerned they are about the new coronavirus epidemic in our country, 66% of respondents in total respond more or less, with 40% responding a lot (compared to 34% in the previous July survey) and 26% quite (compared to 30%). ). 17% of respondents responded moderately (18%), while 11% overall responded little to little / nothing, with 4% saying little (compared to 6%) and 7% minimal or not at all ( 5%). 6% declare I don’t know / I don’t answer (of 7%).
In Attica they are even more concerned about the virus
In the Attica region, 77% of the sample is quite concerned about the coronavirus, 13% are moderately concerned, 7% a little concerned, while 3% say they do not know / do not respond.
In the rest of Greece, 60% of respondents are quite concerned about the coronavirus, 20% are moderately concerned, 13% a little, while 7% say they do not know / do not respond.
