Commotion in Soufli, when a student who participated with others in the occupation of the General Lyceum and had climbed onto the roof, in unclear circumstances, fell into the void, ended up in the courtyard and was seriously injured.
There was a great uproar and everyone “froze” for the first few seconds, the teachers who were in another place close to GEL went to the place and took the injured student by car initially to the Soufli Health Center, while his parents were also informed. From there he was transferred to the Didymoteicho Hospital.
According to eyewitnesses, the student was conscious, but seemed to have seriously injured his legs and the first information from the Hospital indicates that he could undergo surgery on his lower limbs.
According to the Director of GEL Soufli, the student jumped from the 1st floor and was initially found on the roof of the building located in the courtyard and then in the courtyard, while the teachers immediately arrived at the scene and transferred him to the Soufli Elementary School.
