The emergency bulletin of climatic deterioration, issued yesterday by EMY, is in force.
More specifically, for today, Thursday, September 24, cloudy skies with rain and local storms are forecast in the Ionian, in the western continents and gradually in the Eastern Continent, in the Peloponnese and from noon in the Cyclades, Crete and the islands from the East Aegean.
However, the phenomena in the west will quickly weaken and gradually stop. Visibility will be locally limited during the night and early morning on the central and northern continents.
The temperature will vary from 15 to 29 degrees in northern Greece (in western Macedonia from 13 to 25 degrees), from 20 to 29 degrees in central and southern Greece (in Thessaly up to 31 degrees), from 18 to 27 degrees in Western Greece (in Southwest Peloponnese up to 30 degrees), 20 to 26 degrees in the Cyclades and Crete (locally in southern Crete up to 30 degrees), 18 to 30 degrees in the eastern Aegean and Dodecanese islands.
Winds will blow in the central and northern Aegean from weak to almost moderate variable directions 3-4 beauforts and in the northwest Aegean at night from moderate northwest directions 5 beauforts, while in the southern Aegean from the west directions they will moderate 4- 5 beauforts and locally Sea and at noon in the Cyclades strong 6 beauforts.
In the Ionian the winds will blow from the weak south to almost moderate 3-4 Beaufort, where in the afternoon they will turn towards the northwest with the same intensity.
