The homicide in Perama is investigated

The boy who was baptized by his wife a few years ago, according to police, is the man who killed the 80-year-old inside his home in Perama at noon on August 24 and then tried to set fire to cover his tracks. The 35-year-old, who had been re-arrested in the past for robbery and drug cases, was arrested by police officers from the Homicide Department and brought to justice.

According to information from zougla.gr, the young man allegedly confessed his act, saying that “the victim was not guilty of anything since when I entered the house he was missing. But at some point the 80-year-old man came back. I hid in the bathroom but when he opened the door, he saw me and scared me. He didn’t know me because my face was covered. I pushed him, he fell but he grabbed my leg. Then, with a kitchen knife I had, I cut his neck. “Then I took his car and left.”

Police officers from the Attica Security Homicide Department realized from an early age that it was an acquaintance of the victim as there were no signs of rape while all rooms were searched in specific locations. The 35-year-old man left the victim’s car in the Perama area and two days later transferred it to the shooting range area and set it on fire. In fact, when he covered it with flammable liquid, he suffered a burn to his hand, for which he sought medical help at Thriasio hospital. The policemen, having found the initial spot where he had parked him and comparing his injury, realized that they had to do with the main suspect in the murder. The young man allegedly confessed his act while it was found that he did not find a sum of money that was in the house of the 80-year-old man. All he got was a bank card, a cell phone, and his car. In other words, he killed him for ευρώ zero euros.
