The ELAS men were found last night in the Barnava square in Pagrati, as part of the imposition of emergency measures in Attica against the spread of the coronavirus.
Bernabé Square is one of the areas that has received a “red” alarm in Attica due to the congestion observed every night.
The policemen asked people to move away from the square and the patrol played the audio signal according to the instructions.
Those who stayed in the square were fined 150 euros.
In detail, the ELAS message, which will be heard in Greek, English and Arabic, in the streets until Sunday October 4, states: “Gatherings of more than nine people are not allowed in parks, squares and other outdoor areas .
A fine of 150 euros is foreseen for the infraction. The ban is valid until Sunday, October 4. Let’s all be patient. “Follow instructions to protect public health.”
It is recalled that, from Monday (09/21) to October 4, in the context of the imposition of emergency measures in Attica, meetings in public and private spaces of more than nine people are prohibited.
