Many times in politics you have to look behind words to understand the real dimension of things and especially the developments that are prescribed. So who noticed the way Megaro Maximou reacted to Alexis Tsipras’ financial speech?
On Saturday afternoon in Thessaloniki, he realized that the government was not actually responding to what the leader of the official opposition had proposed. Random? All information contributes to “no”.
More specifically, the government did not even want to go into the logic of deconstructing Tsipras’ proposals. Rather, he chose a more political approach: “… After the” Thessaloniki Program “and the” Parallel Program “, Mr. Tsipras returned to Thessaloniki today” so, without a Program “. Just to say” we continue alive “to his internal party public and to spread, again, countless lies. Are you lying to the government?” More lies to the opposition, “said Stelios Petsas, among others, in his statement. No reference to the SYRIZA package, no reference to the criticisms made by the former prime minister of Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
So this choice did not come suddenly. According to a source who knows people and things within the prime minister’s office, this measure is absolutely indicative of the belief in the Palace of the Maxims that “no one listens to Mr. Tsipras”, as they say. And when they say, they mean the majority of society.
This political conclusion, as the same sources insist, is based on a series of quality measurements that show that Alexis Tsipras faces a serious problem to be heard by a large part of the public. Based on these measurements, the former prime minister’s political capital has been spent heavily, making it difficult for him to reach a political audience. In fact, this effort becomes even more difficult, due to what was done during his term in office.
According to the reading made by officials of the Palace of the Maxims, SYRIZA is currently unable to transmit its messages to society and, above all, to develop a new narrative that returns it to the trajectory of a substantial exercise of opposition. By contrast, the main opposition party deals with “internal” issues almost every day, the most recent example being Stelios Kouloglou. The SYRIZA MEP in his article denounces the deliberate blocking of the information website he has of the interrogation process at the Alexis Tsipras press conference, alleging that the new SYRIZA communication group is upset by two critical articles published on tvxs. gr recently internal reorganization in the party.
Therefore, it is clear that SYRIZA is currently unable to make a “correct” opposition, something that hurts the party itself and ultimately the government. Obviously, the image above does not bother the government. But it will be good for everyone to know that politics is not something fixed, on the contrary, and every thought of rest catches whoever does it.
