Two more people lost their lives to coronavirus in Greece, raising the death toll in our country to 346.
They are an old woman and a 25-year-old boy from Bangladesh.
Both were hospitalized at the Evangelismos Hospital.
The 25-year-old suffered from leukemia.
Explosive increase with 453 new cases and 6 deaths on Monday
EODY today announced a negative record of coronavirus cases in Greece, and the number caused a stir. Specifically, today 453 new confirmed cases were announced in the country, of which 195 are related to known influxes (184 at the Kara Tepe Hospital in Lesbos) and 25 were identified after controls at the country’s entry gates.
To the 25 cases detected in the country’s gateways, there were 2 cases that came voluntarily for control, bringing the total number of imported cases to 27.
One more day, Attica is on fire with 174 cases, however, for the first time it is not the area with the most cases, since Lesbos has 184, all from the Kara Tepe KYT.

Thus, the total number of cases is 15,595, of which 55.8% are men, while 2,618 (16.8%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 6,592 (42.3%) are related to an already known case. 
In addition, 79 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their average age is 68 years. 24 (30.4%) are women and the rest are men. 87.3% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 181 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 6 more deaths registered and 344 deaths in total in the country. 128 (37.2%) women and the rest men. The average age of our dying fellow citizens was 78 years and 96.8% had some underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
