With seismic vibrations of ‘good morning’
A seismic earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale occurred at 09:01 in the morning in Crete.
According to the Institute of Geodynamics, the epicenter of the vibration is in the area of the sea at 51 km west of Paleochora while the focal depth was 23.5 km.
Half an hour later there was a new 4.1 Richter earthquake 40 kilometers east-southeast of Zakros. The focal depth was 10 km.
It is recalled that on Friday a strong earthquake occurred shortly after 7:30 pm, in a maritime area south of Heraklion prefecture. HE The earthquake had a magnitude of 5.5 and was revised to 5.3 on the Richter scale.
