He was transferred to a hospital in a nearby town and underwent surgery, but succumbed to his injuries a little later, according to the APE-MPE.
The suspect is 20-year-old Vinicius Enrique Corsini da Silva, who began his soccer career at Nacional Atlético, but is currently unemployed. According to local media, he told the police who arrested him that his team owed him 7,000 reais, that is about 1,100 euros.
