Early in the morning a large police operation is underway for the forced promotion of refugees and migrants in new structure in Kara Tepe of Lesbos.

The operation follows the threats of the Ministers of Immigration and Asylum and Citizen Protection, who had previously announced violent actions in case those who have been homeless since the Moria disaster do not sanction.

The road to Kara Tepe is blocked and workers do not cross early in the morning. According to the apparent plan of the operation, the Police exclude parts of the route where immigrants and refugees live and promote them to the new camp.

The headquarters of EL.AS. states that it is an “operation for the protection of public health and with a clear humanitarian content.”
