A very short distance from a house in Kato Sychaina are the flames of the great fire that has been ongoing since 10:00 pm on Wednesday night in Patras.
The house is located below the Perimeter and strong Fire Brigade forces have lined up to save it. The winds are strong and make the task of extinction difficult.
The fire is above the Perimeter and near the height of the tunnel.
Strong forces of the Fire Department with 20 vehicles and the Police rushed to the scene.
The Police regulate traffic and prohibit the ascent of vehicles from Artemidos Street.
The state Civil Protection Mechanism of the Western Greece Region participates in the extinction operation.
