Coronavirus: The case of a 62-year-old cardiologist in Evros who fell ill with coronavirus, was discharged and after days found himself positive for the virus again, has caused concern.
HE cardiologist who lost his wife to the deadly virus, spoke to the Star newsletter from inside the Alexandroupolis hospital room and explained how of a pandemic denier found himself ill twice.
The 62-year-old doctor from Orestiada experiences the nightmare for the second time in a few days. On September 3, he tested positive and was hospitalized. Five days later, he was discharged and repeated the test twice on September 8, in which he came back negative. However luck did not smile at his wife either, that a day later, on September 9 left life defeated by the pandemic.
Finally, on September 12, he tested positive for the virus again and was admitted to the hospital again.
The doctor did not believe in the coronavirus
The tragic irony of the cardiologist’s story is that he did not believe in the coronavirus. But he got sick twice, his four children and his mother-in-law got stuck, and he, too, is mourning his wife.
